‘T Withofke is a charming historical Manoir located in the heart of Pulderbos village where you are welcomed into an atmosphere of calm and elegance by your hosts Luc & Nadine.
Luc, an antique dealer of over 20 years, is responsible in Belgium & Holland for representing an English auction house, Wilkinsons’ Auctioneers Ltd specialising in period goods & works of art.
Nadine compliments his collection with her artist flare; her eye for the decorative and her talent for floral creations.
Their passion for art, and the tasteful atmosphere of ‘T Withofke can be savoured later by their guests in their own homes, as the antiques and decorations are for sale.
This warm hearted family extends to include the dogs Xsenna & Ceasar, not forgetting the cat; ‘Baron’ who presides over the geese, chickens and ducks!
Guests can relax in the garden enjoying a glass of ‘T Withofke’s own house wine or ‘Kempisch Vuur’, the locally brewed beer.
The two guestrooms are situated at the front of this beautiful house overlooking the picturesque village. The Master bedroom, or ‘Red Room’ boosts a splendid 180 cms x 200 cms bed with the sole use of a private bathroom with Jacuzzi. The ‘Blue Room’ has a 140 cms x 200 bed and an ensuite bathroom. Both rooms are equipped with TV, DVD and Internet.
Pulderbos lies in the region of Zandhoven, which is 20 minutes drive from the centre of Antwerp, 15 minutes from Lier and 30 minutes from Mechelen. It is perfectly placed to enjoy walking and cyling through countryside discovering castles, abbeys & windmills, with many good restaurants & inns to visit nearby.
